Yet on the other hand, its Latin name 'withania somnifera' implies its calming and somniferous properties. Ashwagandha is a wonderfully balancing herb that helps the body and mind to adapt to the stresses of everyday life. It grows all over India as a biennial root that burrows deeply into the earth, and although it is known as 'Indian Ginseng' because of its similar resemblance and tonifying properties, it is not stimulating.

Dosage: 30 drops 3 times a day. Use long term for maximum balance.
